2008 Quilt #5

Another quilt from tumbler blocks...I love playing with colours....I have the next one all planned out on EQ5. I hope to start that next week....but first I have the green tumbler to quilt (back to the sewing  machine now) This one is for the BBS Summerfest raffle.

I never even thought to put those tumblers on their side.

What do you use to cut them out?

What a very beautiful and bright quilt. I can't wait to see how you quilt it.

This is so pretty! I ran out and bought a tumbler template when I saw your quilts and others online but I haven't done anything with them yet.

Was this one a planned design in EQ or is it random within each color family?

Nicole,
You are doing some fantastic work while you are not quite well! I love your quilts....you too huh, what are we to do? I find it difficult to get used to the roaring noise in my ear. This increasing pressure is a pain in the "keyster" as well...I was hoping that with the medicine, this would clear up. From what you say, I could possibly be stuck with this thing? Please, I hope not...oh, well there must be a bright side....it is too late at night to figure what it is.
Hugs
Pam

Hi Nicole,
This quilt is gorgeous and so is the black, white and green Churn Dash quilt! You have really been working hard!

I love the bright colourwash - I usually "see" reproduction fabrics in this pattern. I can't believe how prolific you have been! What design are you quilting them with?
